Quartz

Quartz is a hard, crystalline mineral composed of silicon dioxide (SiOâ‚‚). It is one of the most abundant minerals in the Earth's crust and is found in a variety of geological environments, including igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. Quartz has a hexagonal crystal structure and can appear in many different forms and colors, depending on the presence of impurities.
